I'm having a problem playing music. It gets part way through a track then either turns into noise or says its an unsuported format. All files are mp3's downloaded to the phone with media go and the files are fine no corruption. I've tried a number of aps. Walkman doesn't get half way through a track. Amazon MP3 is a bit better but it still happens. I've tried the phone in safe mode and it still happens and I've tried using pc companion to repair the phone but it still happened after that.

Does it matter if you have the songs stored on the SD card or in the internal storage?

You could try to clear data for the media storage. Go to settings > apps > all > media storage > clear data. Restart phone and wait for the phone to index the media files again.

thanks for the reply. It worked for a little while and Walkman managed to play a couple of songs before the exact same thing happened again. Its been the same with everything I've tried it seems to solve the problem for a short time but then it happens again. Amazon Mp3 seems to be working OK at the moment though.
