an awkward white line of display backlight on phone

On my xperia sp,a white line of display light is visible on the bottom side.this is visible when I see at the screen from above after tilting the phone.is it a manufacturing defect in my phone or it is normal for all handsets? This line gives it a cheap look and is not expected in this category of phones.

Can you see this line in every menu/view of the phone?

You are not referring to the icon dock line in the bottom of the homescreen?

If you can see the line on other views you might have the phone examined by a service center. Please contact your local support for more information:

This type problem same on my xperia m dual
Every menu create white colour line

Another problem is notification and home menu also showing in video player or any other apps.

You could try to repair the phone software using PC Companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > click on the blue highlight (Repair my phone/tablet). Do this without the phone connected. Follow the instructions on screen to perform the repair.

If the behavior still persists, you should have your phone examined by a service center.
