Unlocking Bootloader

Okay well i have been having many problems with my Arc S ever since i got it

for example in ICS my phone does not rotate

my phone is very ( and by very i mean very very ) slow
my vibration has stopped working

my bootloader does not unlock

there are more but i would just like to ask 3 things here

y can i not unlock my bootloader ?? it just does not unlock no matter how much i try ( for more info u may visit the xda thread i have made here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2318416 )

second is there a way i can compile kitkat for locked bootloaders, i know that this is a very huge thing to ask but since you guys will not be updating us to kitkat i would want to help out people who have the same device as me as much as possible

lastly i have bought my phone from a retailer in chine in december but i seem to have lost my receipt , is there some way i can send my phone to be fixed , it is made in 12W46 hence it can be proved that it hasnt been a year since i have bought this device

If your phone is or was locked to a carrier/network branded at any time, that's the reason you can not unlock the bootloader

i guess u didnt look at the link i added 😕

well here is what it says

I have a arc s
manufacturing date : 12W46
Bootloader is unlockable
I have no sim lock and can enter fastboot
I have tried sony's official unlock bootloader method bt it always fails saying "eom: unlock bootloader failed"
Is there any way i can unlock my bootloader?
