Ever since I got my Miro when i speak to people on the phone they say there is suddent bursts of static or distruption that happens periodically making me hard to understand at times.

This didnt doesnt happen on my old sony xperia and im on the same sim only contract using the same sim card as i was with that so i dont believe its network issues.

Has anyone else had this problem or know of a solution as its quite hard to have a decent conversation when they other person is constantly asking me to repeat something i said due to a suddent static burst or my voice cutting out or whatever it is.

Thanks!

Perhaps the SIM card is faulty. I suggest that you first of all try with another SIM card in your phone.

If you experience the same problem with another SIM card, you could try to repair the phone software using PC Companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phones software > "Repair phone".
