Hello every one

Please help me to solve my problem.

I have sony ericsson satio and it always show phone memory is full means 73mb is used and 70mb out of 73mb is in others. and only 3mb is used for messag or a pic or other things etc. I am not installed any software. I want to know to format or erase the phone memory. Please help me .

Restore phone to factory default settings

Restoring your phone can be useful if you lend out the phone or just want to restore your phone to factory default settings and delete all user data.

To make a soft reset to delete user data, such as contacts, messages, and downloaded games:

1. Tap Dialler and enter *#7780#.
2. Tap Yes to restore all original phone settings.
3. Enter the lock code (0000 by default) and tap OK.
4. The phone restarts.

To make a hard reset to delete user data and all settings:

1. Tap Dialler and enter *#7370#.
2. Tap Yes to restore all original phone settings.
3. Enter the lock code (0000 by default) and tap OK.
4. The phone restarts.

thank you for the reply.

But I tried both soft and hard its not giving any result.

Its shows

memory in use 72 mb

free memory 4 mb

others files 70 mb

please help me to format the phone memory or free some memory to install some software.

If resetting the phone isn't doing the trick, then try manually deleting some of your files, or connect it to a PC and re-install the software.

Thanks for the solution but its not finding any file.

but its not helping me.

i have only 1 pic of 77kb in my phone and not even a single song.

please provide another solution.

Did you actually try reinstalling the software? This should erase the phone memory,
