Its really wierd though. Actually what happens is that sound of loudspeaker is heard from ear speaker while that of louspeaker is heard from ear speaker. Its like that walkman songs are being played in ear speaker... looks like the fuctionality gets reversed/ interchanged. I have verified it through Sony Xperia Diagnostic app It looks like a bug. Although it gets rectified after restarting the phone but it still persists and is a hassle.... kindly remove this bug....
