I suggest that you try with a software repair on your device via Update Service:
www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/

I tried updating the software to version 15.3.A.0.26 via USB cable connection to my Dell PC, it all seemed fine until I tried to restart the phone and now it sits in permanent SONY mode on the screen, no change. I have tried removing the battery and SIM card at least twice, shutting down and restarting my PC at least twice, installing drivers several times as the system seems not to reocginize the phone any longer, but the system keeps asking for a disc that came with my android and there wasn't one. suggestions??
