As kitkat is designed to Erin on low ram devices

There isn't a timeline nor any info on 4.4, just that the Z series and SP will get it for sure, and that Sony is testing other Xperias running 4.1 to update them to 4.3 that's about it, check the official news blog for more info.

Now its time for xperia e dual owners to get a android 4.4 android update as its made for budget phones...so plzz sony take it seriously and provide as soon as possible...

There isn't any info on 4.4, The only info is that the Z series and SP will get it android 4.3, and that Sony is testing other Xperias running 4.1 to update them to 4.3 that's about it, check the official news blog for more info.

This is what I think, just my opinion so don't quote me on that

I think the Xperia Z1 and Z Ultra will get 4.4 soon, as they share similar hardware and then followed by the Z, ZL, ZR, Then SP will stay with 4.3 as perhaps the last update major Android update, this is all based on past years/xperias.

Perhaps other mid/low end Xperias that currently have 4.1 will get a 4.3 update later on and it could be the last major update for such devices.

I hope I'm wrong and all 2013 Xperias get 4.4 but lets be realistic

Knowing Sony I'm pretty sure that they will introduce a new budget phone with 4.4 and act like xperia e never happened
