Try transferring your files using another USB cable.

If the problem persists it sounds like it can be related to the SD card. Try your phone without SD card to see if you experience the same behavior?

I have experienced this several times. Everytime I connect my phone to the computer so that I can copy music files to my SD card, the copying process hangs in the middle of it and then my phone will hang too. I will not be able to turn it off unless I open the back and remove the battery. I am sure that the files are clean because I run a virus scan on them prior to copying.

After this, when I turn on the phone again, I will notice that the battery drains much faster on idle. With the wifi/data/bluetooth off and on standby, my phone normally drains at 1% every 2-3 hours overnight. But everytime this hanging issue happens, it can drain to as fast as 1% per hour on standby.

I have also experienced this hang a couple of times while using the camera and deleting the photos that I just took. The deletion process will stop, my phone will heat up, and then the phone will hang.

Btw, I have already repaired my phone after this incidents but still experienced it afterwards. Could it be the SD card, the battery, or my phone. Please help. Thanks.

I have experienced this on two laptops. Anyway, I have repaired my phone again today and I did not insert the SD card yet. Will observe the battery for a couple of days and give a feedback. Thanks.

Hi, I have observed that my battery drains about 5% per hour overnight now. I do not know if this is normal or it should be better, with all the sync off and data/wifi off.

I have re-inserted my SD card and everything seems to be working fine but when I added a new file by connecting it to the PC, it hang again. Although there were no significant battery loss afterwards. If someone can explain why I am having this hang issue when connecting the phone to the PC.

I have another question, if I turn on Location-based wifi and Extended Stand-by mode, which of the two will the phone follow? WIll it turn on the wifi if the network is available or keep it off when the screen is off? Thanks.
