hello there, i got the new xperia z1 it is an amazing phone but i am having trouble connecting to my home wifi, whenever i try to connect it says SAVED, SECURED TO WEP. I have tried nearly everything to get it fixed but no luck. These are the things i have tried:

1. Changing Router channels (from 1-11)

2. Changing Security from WEP to WPA-PSK AES, TKIP and Both AES and TKIP

3. Restarting the Router

4. Trying other peoples Wifi (WORKS PERFECTLY WITH OTHERS WIFI)

5. Taking the phone to the Xperia Shop

6. Restoring the Phone

7. Forgeting the Network on the phone

8. Restarting the Phone

9. Turning off Security on the Router (no luck)

10. Changing Mode of Router from Auto 108mbps to b, g and B+G

Yeah so, thats all i have tried.....i am using a Netgear WGT624v3 router with the latest firmware. I updated my Xperia Z1 to the latest Sony Firmware but didnt improve. All other devices in the house can connect fine like: PS3, iPod touch, laptops, Galaxy Note, S4.

Hoping for a solution, and I love Sony devices and this problem isnt going to stop me from liking their products. BTW i know a bit of computer stuff but no tech nerd. This problem isnt just on Sonys devices but on other phones too

HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP THANKS

Hi, I was wondering if you ever sorted this problem out as my Z1 has just started doing this same thing. But only with my home wifi. I can connect to work but at home it just says authenticating the nothing.
