HELP!!! Locked security Sreen

Hi, I just updated my new xperia z1, it restarted the hone and now the phone doesn't recognise my security passcode to unlock the screen.

Does anyone know how to bypass this?

Hi @vanzeller,

If you have My Xperia for your phone you can try changing the screen lock that way. See this link for more information: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/How-to-unlock-a-phone-w-o-reseting-reformating-the-phone/m-p/927295#U927295

If you are unable to access My Xperia you will have to do a software repair using PC Companion.
In PC Companion you press start on "Support Zone" > Start on "Update the phone/tablet software" > "Repair phone/tablet" (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.

Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you how to connect it. The software repair will remove all data stored in the phone.
