You can clear data for media storage without losing you music files. Restart phone after you have cleared the data and wait for the phone to index the files again. You could also try to clear data for album and Walkman.

Hi, my pictures, videos and all music disappear from my music, it seems to be happening once a day or more, I will take a picture go to the album to be told "there are no items in your collection". I go into google music and I have no songs and anytime I make a playlist it deletes itself. the only way I can play a song is by going to 'file commander'. I was told to try deleting the data in settings-apps-media storage, will this work? and will it delete my pictures/videos/music for good? can someone please help, thanks
