Cant be upgraded

I have sony xperia u, and i cant upgrade my software. It cant take a new software update and it stays on 2.3.7. I connect on a computer with a cable and it doesnt work. How can i fix this ?

Do you get any error messages when you are trying to update the phone or does it says that you already have the latest software version for your device?

Have you tried with both PC Companion and Update Service?

Yes i have tried with PC Companion and Update Service, but it says that i have already the latest version for my device. And when i click for search for new software update, its just closing and nothing happening after that. Soo whats the problem ?

In that case it sounds like you have the latest software for your device. The software availability may differ depending on market/region, operator, etc. Please contact your local support for more information about which is the latest software for your device.

@@Itsloner69: Restart your PC, try to connect the phone to a different USB port on the PC and try with another USB cable. If you still experience problem, try with another PC.

That means no update is available for you.
