Last time I went to spain I expected my phone to automatically find a network so I could use my phone. It didn't but eventually after 2 hours later I was able to do it. I can't remember how I did this. My previous phone, a samsung galaxy ace automatically found a network as soon as I arrived in Spain. Can anyone tell me what I should do when I go to spain to ensure I can get on a network immediately.

Was roaming on? you could try

settings > more > mobile networks
