Xperia SP won't charge anymore

Hi all,

I bought an Xperia SP in Germany a few months ago but I live in Australia which makes things a little complicated.

Since yesterday my phone won't charge, no matter if I connect it via usb or wall charger. I tried several cables that work fine on other devices; including the original one but my phone just doesn't charge.

Until a few hours ago the power on button turned on the phone with a vibration and I could get to the pin screen until it would turn off again, show the logo and red led for a few minutes.

In the meantime the battery is flat and I don't even get the Sony logo anymore. When I connect the phone the red led will light and last for several minutes until it goes off. I can't connect to either pc or mac anymore either.

Yesterday when the phone still had some charge, I tried factory reset and the reset button in the back without success.

I'd be grateful for every hint as to what could cause this and how to solve it...

Since you have tried different chargers and a factory reset without any success it sounds to me like you need to have the phone examined by a service center. Contact your local support for more information about warranty and where you can leave your phone for service:
