Problems with PC companion sync Notes/ Google Calendars

I seem unable to sync my Notes calendar with Xperia Go. Every time I try to sync my calendar I get an error message: "Synchronization failed. Bad credentials. Please verify login and password information". I'm told to go to Help for support, but I don't find that area in PC Companion. What must I do to move on?

Is it possible that this is caused by two-stage google authentication? I do not see a dialog window to insert the 6-digit code from the google authenticator app i'm using.

If you have 2 stage authentication enabled, then you have to create a new application specific password.
