That's a complicated question, if you are asking if Bravia Engine 2 consume more power than Bravia Engine 1, if you are asking if having the Bravia Engine 2 running will consume more power, the answer is yes.

It'll be the same, as this Engine will be running in the background it will drain your battery faster.
