HI

I have recently brought a new unlocked xperia play r800a, but when I put my testra simcard in it says your simcard does not allow connection to this network; although the testra symbol comes up on the bootup, so it would appear to be the original network.

I took the phone into a phone shop and after a little work they managed to get this sim card working fine.

Since then I took the simcard back out of the phone and when I put it back in it now comes up with this message again.

If anyone would be able to give me some advice on how they/you manage to fix this problem.

Thanks

Have you tried to put in another SIM card in your phone?

Also make sure that you have the latest update in your phone. You can update your phone using PC Companion:
