SBH50 Audio Stutter

I have a Sony Bluetooth SBH50 and have it paired with both my Samsung S4 Active and Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

Both devices pair fine and handle phone calls Ok.

But when trying to play music between either Android Handset and the SBH50 via Spotify or Google Music I get a stuttering sound for about 2 seconds sometimes. Whether the track is being streamed or is stored on the device offline the stutter occurs infrequently but often enough it becomes annoying.

If headphones are plugged in directly to one of the devices the stutter never occurs and using a Sony MW600 Bluetooth Handset the stutter never occurs, so it seems to specifically be with the SBH50 Handset.

I haven't heard this before. I suggest that you try to reset the headset and then try to pair it again.

You can also try to update/reinstall the headset using the program Update Service:

http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/

Have you tried to pair your SBH50 to another phone/device to see if you experience the same problem?
