I can't flash the original firmware because I don't have it and I can't find it anywhere. It's a generic Taiwan rom

and the phone company weren't any help in trying to find it. In hindsight I should have backed up the original ROM.

I flashed an Indonesian generic upgrade 15.0.A.2.17 which is customization firmware.

I have had an xperia L for 6 weeks and after 2 weeks it started shutting down itself. I thought it may be a software problem, so I did a restore. That didn't solve it, so I then used PC Companion to try and solve it. This also didn't work. I have restored 4 times but nothing has worked. As a last resort, I flashed an overseas generic ROM with the 15.0.A.2.17 upgrade onto the phone. Still has the same problem, so I know it has to be a hardware issue.

When i contacted customer support about the problem, they said they wouldn't warranty it because it has a different ROM version. So even if I can prove it's a hardware fault, they will still charge me for the repair??? If this issue doesn't get resolved satisfactorily, then this will be the LAST sony product i will ever buy.

Why don't you flash the original firmware?

when you say different ROM do you mean that you have a Custom ROM?

Don't forget to give Kudos
