Miro's power button stopped working

Suddenly my phone's power button stopped working. I can't lock/unlock the phone nor turn it off 😕 Tried to take a screen shot, to restart the device but nothing happened. I dropped the phone only once or twice before months, it hasn't been in touch with water and such. Now I almost can't use my phone unless when I put the phone on charger

Did anyone have the same problem? What should I do?

Haven't heard of this before actually. I would recommend that you send this phone to a service center for repair. Contact your local Xperia Support for more information:

hi, my xperia miro stop power button stop working...i cant power on/off it...what wud be the main problem of this???

I know just how you feel. It can be very frustrating..And the thing is - the phone doesnt even belong to me, it's my wifes phone.

So i can imagine for everyone else how you feel. The thing wont power on unless it is connected to a PC or power charger. I used to take offf the housing to depress the power button directly or connect with the usb charger. Now its worse because as of last night it wont come on or charge at all unless i use my phone to call hers to allow it to power on. Crazy Right ? Im thinking to take it to repair or just get rid of it & purchase a new one. That of course would depend on the repair cost.I live in Trinidad but can someone quote repairs maybe in U.S $ ??
