I took it to them and they say motherboard should be changed,. And the pity s that it has just come out of warranty. And about 7 months ago they changed the motherboard once for some othe reason. Motherborad is like 70% of the phone cost today. Does not make sense to replace from your own pocket. I spent about USD 350 to buy pone and does not work for six months even ... it is really sad. This is a serious flwaed product that sony lauched and don't even bother to recognise the mistake. There are a many who are complainig. Internet space is filled with complaints for Sony Experia. It is bad blow to the reputation of Sony and specially for the ardent sony fans like me. However, I am still not convinced that it is a hardware issue but sony should provide a solution. Very sorry state of Sony.

Hiello All, I have Xperia Neo V. When I press the sleep button it reboots itself and then it keeps on doing it. However if I run the music player and keep the volume to nil and then press the sleep button, it keeps working fine. But by doing so the battery gets drained very fast. Please suggest what to do? I can see that there are a lot many people facing this problem and I am sure there should be a solution to it as well. Any help extended would be appreciated.

Regards,

Shailesh

Could you elaborate, what do you mean by the "Sleep button"? is it the Power button?

No I am using the power button to put the mobile in sleep mode. However, when I do so, the mobile reboots and does it in cyclical fashion. I run the music app and press lock button to swtich off the display but running music application does not let the phone to go in sleep mode and does not shutdown. However it drains the battery like anything.

Regards,

Shailesh
