Hello after this update ringtone is quieter than before. Any solution for this ?? It's problem for any volume step for ringtone what's wrong ??

After update my phone on ringtone it's quieter. That's all the problem. Option in PCC repair the phone doesn't work. The same problem it's quieter then previous firmware.

OMG... I know haow updating Xperia. But this update make my phone quieter. They fix bootloop but loudnes of ringtones it's worst.

Even i feel the same. The rigtone sound has gone little down. It's not as loud as before. Hope nothing of similar sort has happened to the music player as it was already very low.

The volume has recaliberated. At full volume it is the same but in the steps it is not as loud as it was before. Sony here fixed something that was nt broke in the first place... and managed to break it i guess.

If we are talking about problems with this new software, I have a problem. I am from Romania, the phone camed installed with 15.1.B.0.2 . I see that all of the countries have the C firmware.... Why can't I upgrade, I've tried all the methods, and it says that my phone has the latest software.

Is C1905 , single SIM.

I observed the same problem with the latest firmware. Ringtones and especially SMS notifications are so slow now that I already missed several messages (volume settings are the same than before the update). The vibration alarm also isn't the best one compared to other phones, so that's a real bad combination...

However the maximal volume seems to be equal than before the update, so you have exactly 2 usable choices: very low volume or very loud!

I have the same problem with my Xperia M!.

I upgraded to 15.1.C.1.17 on Friday and have the same problem. The phone is extremely quite now. If I switch off the xLOUD I almost cant hear the phone.

Moreover, I have another serious problem after this upgrade. I am receiving emails to the in-built E-mail application without any text/blank. I write about this issue in another topic "Software updates".

Sony, please, fix it.

Different software versions for different countries maybe. As long as it is says it is the latest for your phone/region dont worry about the different numbers mate. Or maybe a delayed rollout in your location/for your model.

Hi Basant, do you have any idea about my second and more serious problem with this update - no content email?

Right after I made this update I started to receive emails with no content. Everything else is there; Sender, Date, Subject, Attachments but no body of the email.

I have to say that this issue is only for in-built E-mail app and only for my company account synchronized by Exchange on Kerio connect. We have no such a problem on other devices in company. Moreover, I can correctly synchronize emails with text even on my old Xperia Neo.

I had the same problem. It was only with my hotmail acount which was classified as corporate account and was accessed through the inbuilt app. Finally I got one email after about 4 to 5 hours from Microsoft stating that the account needs to be verified since it is being accessed from a new location. Upon clicking on the verification link in the email I had to re enter my user id and password and then there was no issue after that.

I suspect it is your company server that is blocking the emails from reaching your phone.

OK, but why just this phone (nobody else in our company has the same problem) and moreover why right after the system upgrade of the phone? I suspect that the problem is more in my phone/new release 15.1.C.1.17 than Kerio Connect where no changes were made and works well with tens of other devices...
