Xperia Z touch is living its own life...

After the 2.2.2 Andriod update, I've experienced a couple of annoying problems! First the screen was flickering at lockscreen and menu. That problem seems to have been resolved. Now theres another issue. The touch is going crazy! This problem has come and gone for the last three weeks now and I'm starting to loose my mind! It registeres every single button/letter that I don't even get close to when i try to unlock the screen, type a message, make a call, basically making everything pretty darn difficult to do! Is there any resolution to this problem?

Do you have a protective case or an extra film protector?

I have the same issue. the phone starts going thru applications on its own. i have tried factory restore as well however no luck. and yes my phone has a screen guard and i removed that too.

@syeda - Have you attempted an update/repair:

1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps
