Images get damaged

Dear Sony, I have a serious problem, the images taken in my xperia V get damaged all of a sudden and cannot open or repair them. pls support me rectifying this. i lost some most memorable momnets due to this problem. so far i have lost about 500 images so far

Have you tried copying them over to a PC to see if they are viewable there? There could be a few causes of this problem however both running a repair and backing up the data then clearing the card should help.

To repair the phone software
1.     Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support
2.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
3.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
4.     Click repair phone.
5.     Follow the on-screen instructions.

hey Tks both, what i actually meant was images get crashed and you cannot repair, the damaged images indiacated in an icon of landscape in black background (pls see the attached screen shots..)

i have tried to repair them on PC yet no luck. pls let what could have gone worng. i am using 32GB SD as the image storage. can this be the reson... also my album gets freezes...

if it was the phone's issue usually this sort it out

settings > apps > all > album > clear everything > stop the app > restart your phone > check again

I think its a faulty SD card the problem here not the phone.

if so,your SD card maybe have some problem,you can buy another SD card and istall on your phone to see whether you the picture are visible

Ok.. I'll see but when i open the ALBUM, it freezes very oftenly.. what do you can say about it...
