Go to Settings > Accounts. Check under Google whether is your phone syncing everything all the time. Uncheck those you do not need. Please do note that JB will drain more power than ICS if intend to use the phone intensely.

Dears,

I have been using Xperia S since end of Sep'12. Recently I installed latest build firmwares. And the battery is being hot while enabling the data & charging it. Accordingly I had to disable the data and all active app's.
Looking for your support 🙂

Which build number do you currently have? Also which apps are you syncing? Perhaps fb or G+ are uploading your pictures or you might have a poor coded app
