Hello,

I bought XSP couple of days ago, yesterday I realised there are some white lines appearing at the edges of the screen.

Actually, it kinda seems like broken or misplaced display, some kind of backlight, I don't know how to explain it.

We can see those lines if we just tilt the display or just see the phone screen with different viweing angles. I'm really worried now. And it's appearing on 3 side of the phone screen. Please suggest me what should I do now? I'm taking it to service center tomorrow. I'm sure they're going to ask me to leave it for repair which I really don't want (I mean WTH, I bought it with so much excitement and hard earned money, not even 1 week pass and now have to stay away from it....), Just wanted to know, is there anyway to ask for replacement instead of getting it repair?

Please see these images -> https://picasaweb.google.com/112330480256638067958/XSPScreenProblem#

Pardon me for this but No, I'm not satisfied at all with your response. May be you should stop kudos hunting and start reading and understanding the topic. I already stated "I'm taking it to service center tomorrow". Which part of this sentence you don't understand and suggested which I already know? I just want to know "is there any way to ask for replacement instead of getting it repair?" That's it.

Keep calm and don't hurt me.

I apologize for not having unserstood correctly your request.

But remember that I give support for free and I'm not a sony employee. And also I ask to give kudos ONLY if satisfied with the answer.

Anyway you can ask unit replacement to your carrier (if phone is branded) or retailer (if sim free)

But remember that probably they aren't obliged to do it. Check DOA policy with your retailer/carrier.

Okay, I took the phone to service center. Now they are saying it's a common thing, almost 80% of XSP are having it. Now what should I do?

Please, I request some Moderator/Admin to reply ASAP.

Is it really normal? Or They're just lying?
