Disappearing Data and storage problems

Hi, im having problems with my phone, my pictures and music will randomly disappear and will be gone up to 2 days before they come back, it will say my album and music libary are empty but storage will say they are still there, is there anything I can do to stop this from happening? Also, my phone and internal storage is acting up, 2 days ago I had 209mb free on internal storage now I have 26mb I havent download any apps or music, its driving me crazy because its saying there's not enough storage to use some apps. Hope someone can help me, please

Try to clear data for media storage. Go to settings > apps > all > media storage > clear data. Restart your phone and try again.

You can also move apps to the internal storage to free some more space on the phone memory. Go to settings > apps > internal > press on an app > move to internal storage.

I have tried this and it worked for awhile but lately its becoming a frequent problem again, tonight my pictures disappeared, cleared the data in album and google music, turned off my phone and still no pictures or music, should this be happening? is their a permanent solution to stop this from happening?

Does this happen if you run your phone in safe mode?

If the problem doesn't happen in safe mode there is most likely an app you have installed in your phone that causes the problem.
