Hi.

I'm buying an Xperia SP as my first Xperia phone. But i want to ask about theWalkman player app.

Now i heard there is an update available for the SP. Does it actually improves the sound quality of the player? And one theme i noticed when i visited shops is when headphones are connected AND especially the speakers sound output is still quite tinny & soft. Does the update improves the sound output?

Please advice. Thanks.

Don't expect the loud speaker to be as loud as a dedicated speaker system, most of what you will see or hear with the demo Xperia at the store its more or less the same as the latest update.

I tried Xperia phones in stores and seen and read video/reviews. I know music/audio quality is very subjective but i thought i asked this questions anyway.

Of course i am not expecting the speakers to be as loud like those portable bluetooth speakers. Its a phone anyway.

What i would like is "just enough" loudness when i'm inside my little room or when i'm in a bus or train where i'll be able to hear my phone ringing in my jeans pocket, etc.

Heard of stories (and this is supported by my trips to the stores) that Xperia phones have really weak/soft/tinny speakers sound and even when headphones are on and volume at maximum its' still not that loud enough.
