Ya rooting is definitely a very risky move. I would'nt go for that. Btw you are using softwares like clean master or all in one toolbox ryt? Those can give some relief by clearing cache and leftover data from other apps. And just to clarify: By flash, I was referring to "support for flash content".

And my phone has never had a restart problem in the first place. I have tried different things like unplugging earphone while playing music, taking screenshot with earphone etc(all these tried multiple times) but it has never restarted even once.

No problems at all noticed as yet. Did the Xperia M update last evening. Only issues I could gauge after the update was 1. The volume of the phone speaker was a little muted compared to earlier. 2. The widget tools "backlight" option whereby the screen brightness could be increased to maximum now only works temporarily. If you have checked the adapt to lighting conditions in your settings and if you use the backlight tool it brings the screen to full brightness, but the moment the display is turned off and then reopened the screen reverts to the adapt to light conditions state but the widget still shows backlight brightness switched on. This is not the case if you dont have adapt to light checkbox ticked in display settings. A small issue which cropped up only after the update. Otherwise the phone seems smoother and faster or maybe its just my imagination as i always did find it smooth n fast

And yes my camera flash etc is all working perfectly well. Didnt lose any data and even my settings remained the same. Just the internal speaker volume (ringtone and music through loudspeaker) seems muted particularly when it is close to full volume though at full volume it seems the same. The caliberation for volume is different i guess.

why dont you just not use an apostrophe mate? The contact app may not be configured to recognising an apostrophe just as gmail does not recognise or take into account periods while other mail accounts do. not a catastrophe i guess.

@RkReddy : Just connect your phone again to your pc and use PC companion again to repair the installation of the software. It is a huge file about 600 mb so i guess the issue must have been in the downloading of the installation files to your pc and not in the actual installation from PC to phone.

I have two problems with this update:

1) the phone is not as loud as before. Bad for me.

2) I am receiving blank Emails without text in in-built E-mail application witch I use for company emails synchronized by Exchange. I wrote more about this issue in topic Software updates. This issue is critical to me because for now I have E-mail application only as a "notification" that I received email.
