i have a wireless router at home to which i'm trying to connect my xperia SP phone. the xperia SP phone detects wifi, asks for password, connects to it with excellent signal strength but when tried to access the internet through browser it doesn't work.

i can successfully connect my laptop with same wifi network and internet works as expected. also i installed virtual router program/software on my laptop and tried to connect the virtual wifi to xperia SP phone that too works fine.

means there is neither problem with my phone wifi or wifi router but the problem is with connecting my xperia SP to my wifi router's network directly.

can you please help me through this problem.

I had the same problema and I believe I was able to solve it.

It all started when I changed my settings from "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep : never" to "Always".

Since then, my Xperia SP would connect to the WiFi but I wasn't able to browse. After I turned off the Stamina Mode, I was able to connect to the internet again! It seems there was some kind of conflict between those two configurations.
