Connection Error when using email

Hi,

Does anyone else keep having this problem? I have set up 2 email accounts on my Xperia Z, they both work for a few weeks then randomly they will both say communication error. I have set these up using the phones standard setup i.e. exchange, so all I have to enter is my email address and password of which I do.

This is really annoying, I have contacted Sony and they have said it is because I am putting in the wrong details when all I have to enter is the email address and the password, which is right as it works for 2ish weeks.

Anyone have any ideas?

Just got my Xperia z yesterday and mine is doing the same. I can receive emails but not send them. If Sony are denying a problem then I'll be getting rid of in favour of galaxy s4 like I should've done in the first place. Also got the poor WiFi reception like many others on here.

Not impressed at all.

Well my email seems to be working now.

Tried changing my settings umpteen times and nothing worked.

Then sent a couple of emails to webmail addresses ie my gmail and orange webmail addresses, they went through and now it seems to be sending ok to normal email addresses as well.

No idea why that is but hopefully will be alright now.

The problem might most probably caused because the phone is unable to refresh with the Exchange server. Some phones like the SGS 3 have the same issue very occasionally. Try Rebooting your phone or deleting and adding the accounts. Hope this helped
