Switch between 3g and WIFI

I enabled 3g on my new ZR phone. I also have WIFI at my home. My 3G signals keeps on droping after 1or 2 hrs or if i dont use internet for some time. After that if i try to use net it dosent work. Need to wait for it. 3G signals again comes on it on.

My doubt is how can i confirm if its a network provider problem or my mobile problem.

One more doubt is that at home if i want to use WIFI and switch off 3G, how can it be done.

I tried searching through all the options but didnt find to switch between WIFI and 3G.

The fact that you are receiving a signal when using 3G or mobile internet, then the settings of your phone is okay. Yes, you can be in an area where your network provider's signal is weak. I am sometimes having this issue too. I use this application from Google play to check if the area where I'm at is near a cell site or getting a good signal from my network provider's cell site.

My XZ prioritizes wifi connection over mobile internet. When the phone connects to my router using wifi it automatically disables the mobile internet. Here is a link to turn on the wifi of your phone. You have to know the router settings i.e. the SSID and the password to connect your XZR to the wireless router.
