Hi all...

Seen lots of post about the Sony Update Service or SUS.

well, most of them suggest to use it when some problems arise.

i read on the Sony site that its good to use the program as a routine.

nw i got my Xperia Z without having any problems.

should i use the program?

i have my data backed up and plan to remove my SD card before attempting to use it, but any advantage of running it without having any problems?

wat all does the program actually do?

Update your phone for optimum performance and get the latest enhancements. Regardless of whether you have the latest software, it’s a good routine to run the Update Service to improve software stability. Also, if you experience problems with your phone this may be solved by a software update.

Before you perform a software update, make sure you back up and save any important data stored in your phone. Data stored on the Memory card will not be affected by an update.

if your phone its running smooth there's no reason to use SUS

i thought so...

dnt want to risk anything...

still surprised to see that the Update servive program was run by Sony Ericsson and not Sony...

sony ericsson doesn't exist, its now just Sony
