I have the same problem there even when using any other headsets , I should hold the mobile between my hands while connecting the headsets because if i put the mobile inside my pocket, the music stops immediately while walking or running.
Just a touch to the jack is enogh to stop the music even it's still inside the mobile.
The problem is that if i push the jack deeply inside, the mobile does not read it & if i took it out very small space also it doesn't read . So it needs something between these 2 cases to be readed on the mobile.

Hey guys i recently purchased Xperia tipo and the problem i'm facing is that the headphones(yes, headphones are provided) with the device won't completely go inside the 3.5mm jack and with just slightest of touch they would come out. It really worries me a lot and i haven't tried to exert force as i fear breaking any components inside. So please suggest me something. Thanks in advance!!:smileyhappy:

Because of the curved design, the contact wont go down all the way if you look at it from the backside. This is normal. However I don't experience that the headset is easier to remove because of this. Do you experience the same with other headsets?
