Question about the infamous media server

Is this normal that my media server use 30% of the battery. I turned off every app and i rebooted my cellphone and he still eat 30% of the battery. Is there anything i can do to have something under the 30% ?

There is probably some app that triggers the Media Server to scan for media content on the phone.

You can start your phone in safe mode by press and hold the "power off" option when turning the phone off to get an option to reboot in safe mode.

If the media server is not draining as much battery in safe mode it is probably an app that triggers the media server.

well... From time to time it drop to something around 7% but yesterday it was at 40% and i dont know why

I also tried one time to boot my phone in safe mode and it was still at 40%.
