I am facing the exact same problem simsrana85 has reported. The phone shows I am in roaming even though I am in Home network. Also it is not connecting to internet properly. Most of the times it is out of connection. I even changed a new SIM suspecting a peoblem with the SIM. The problem still prevails. it is so frustrating. Hoping for a quick solution from Sony expert. I have even re installed the latest firmware. Did a factory reset as well. I love this mobile, but what good is one if it cannot connect to internet?!?

I too have the same data connection and "R" problem, Henke. I am user of multiple phones and small time blogger. I have tried so many of the normal trouble shooting methods to fix it. No luck. Data doesnt connect properly. It is in not connected state almost always. Once in a while it connects. "R"appears even though I am in Home network. Same phone connection works like a charm in my spare Samsung S Advance. Hoping for a permament solution, to fix this issue. You can understand, how frustrating it could be if you spend 17K on a phone and it gives close to null data connectivity...

It is certainly not a problem with Docomo. I am using the same SIM with Samsung rightnow. No issues.

Oh okay....I dont think it is a SIM issue. It is something to do with the phone. I guess, the phones we have is from a set that has an issue. If Sony is going to say, that the problem is with SIM, how are they going to explain "ROAMING" in Home network?!?
