The problem is that Android does not support Flash Player anymore,so because 99% of internet videos use flash,no more videos for us.If you are using the phone default browser, you can tap longer on a video and select save as(you can download) and play later on your phone(BS Player).

When I visit a site which offers videos and I click on the video, only a black rectangle is shown (where normally the video would be shown).

This happens with different browsers (Dolphin, Firefox, Opera, ...).

I also download videos and my P is not able to playback them.

I think this is due to the ICS update.

Can anyone help ?

Thanks

alexdon is right but there is a workaround for this, you can download flash player via google play store on your pc and sending the download to phone, as far as the downloaded videos you could use mxplayer, it works great for me.

Download and install the latest Flash Player from the archive.
Pick the latest from "Flash Player for Android 4.0 archives"
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html

After installing it you should be able to use flash in AOSP Browser (the default one with the blue icon) and/or Dolphin Browser. Chrome does not support flash.
