Get the sms backup from dbk file

Hi Folks,

I had backed up the sms, call logs and settings using PCC and flashed the device. Then I tried to restore it and the sms are not restored.

Is there any way to open .dbk and restore the sms oly?

I am using the device Xperia P.

Are you sure you backed up the sms?You had to check the sms box before backing up,the restore should get your sms back.

Hi Sparks,

I also has some issues restoring my backup. However I have taken two backups and one is restored and one is not restored.

I'm using a thired party tool call my phone explorer. It is a free software and you can use it for backup restore. But unfotunatly you cannot restore PCC backup using this software.
