blacked out apps

Why does my Xperia Z cause a black out of the UI when I return from an activity? I've noticed the same thing happens in Need for Speed: Most Wanted with the UI after a race. This doesn't happen on any other device with Android 4.1.2. LogCat shows error TileRenderer - glEndTilingQCOM: 0x502 - 20421. Although this is a typical error that i've seen many times with the Xperia Z and seems to be thrown by the webview.

any ideas?

I see that you are using a different launcher and perhaps a battery app, uninstall the following apps

taskillers

antivirus

battery apps

ram apps

booster apps

restart your phone

try again, if the problem is still there then most likely its a bug with the app/game. the developer will have to fix this.

Ignore the icons in the taskbar, they're not important as the screenshots are for illustrative purposes and are from an HTC as the Xperia will refresh the UI if a screenshot is attempted. I'm the developer for this particular app and the Xperia is the only phone I have come across that does this. The app works flawlessly on all other Android 4.1.2 devices. My Xperia Z was just out of the box I first noticed this issue therefore it must be something Sony related. The Xperia Z is also the only device that gives a TileRender error. Is this something to do with the hardware or some built in software?
