Caller Image size have become smaller

Upgraded my Xperia S to andriod jelly bean 4.1.2. Its amazing but I have lost my most favourite feature in Sony Mobile. The Caller Images have become smaller. Before the jelly bean update. The Caller image used to be full size as that of the screen. Post upadate the image size has reduced drastically with a lot white spaces around the image.:smileysad::smileyconfused::smileycry:

Can anyone help, please

If you have synced your contacts to your for example Google account the contact picture will be cropped and smaller. But if you have local stored contacts and add a contact picture it will still be big.

Gmail recently added support for big pictures so if you add the picture on the contact through Gmail.com you will also get a bigger picture.
