I bought my new sonyxperia sp from a store just two days ago, didnt take me long to realise the following issues -

1 . Touch screen issues... i read alot of posts saying bout the touchscreen not responding while its placed horizontally, but my phone's touchscreen just freezes in any position - horizontal/vertical, on few pics, while texting, charging , not charging... tried every possible options mentioned on all the forums... JUST NOT HAPPENING....

2. Camera issues - Honestly guys... this is supposed to be Sony, cybershot technology, Exmor RS Sensor... the pics are toooo noisy.. any settings... i tried every poss setting, auto, normal cam, hdr/no hdr... Again - NOT up to da Standards....

3. WiFi Issues... The range is horrible... i mean i lose signal even in my kitchen... i hold my old phone and this brand new Sony Xperia SP walk in and out of same areas , my sony phone drops the range very quickly, whereas my old phone, covers an extra 2-4 metres range... my old is just a basic smart phone... i didnt even spend too much on it...

4. Ear piece - again the design itself is as such that the ear piece is sooo small and if u have to talk by holding the phone , u have to hold it in one single position/angle... but aprt from that, the voice clarity goes up & down for no reason, again not a service provider issue... but a phone issue

THIS IS MY FIRST EVER SONY EXPERIENCE, and I AM SOOO DISAPPOINTED...

I just hope i get an early response.....

I suggest that you try to run a software reinstall using SUS.

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/

If the problem still remains you should contact your local support team, to have the phone examined and fixed at an repair center.

http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/contact-info/
