Recording sound delay?

I could not find a topic about this issue but everytime I start a recording, the video that is created always has the audio start a split second later.

So basically the video itself starts first then the audio follows after maybe a second. This was very obvious when I used the new instagram video update and each seperate video has an annoying audio cut. I searched other videos of the xperia Z/ZL and they all start with the audio delay. The audio itself is in sync, it's just that the split second delay at the beginning caused the instagram videos to not be fluid since the sound is all choppy.

Any fix to this?

So just assuming that since no one is answering that this happens with all the phones.

I tried and I don't think so. Even if you try using the normal camera to record there will always be this audio delay right as the video starts.

That sounds a bit strange, I haven't heard of that before. And it seems that no other users have replied stating they have the same issue. Do you record videos to the internal storage or SD card? If SD card have you tried to switch to Internal storage or vice versa?

I've tried to switch all different settings and the initial delay is still there. I've even checked videos on youtube and the delay is present in the sample videos on youtube. I'm not sure yet if the problem as fixed in the new 4.2.2 update since my phone cust # hasn't received the update OTA yet. But until then, the problem is persistent and even happens when the quality of the video is set to the lowest possible and even if it is saved to either internal storage or the SD card.

I just upgraded my Z2 to a Z3 and out of the box my recording is delayed 1-2 seconds on every camera and video app I try... Really confused because this wasn't a problem on my Z2
