Xperia z locked bootloader

Hi I have xperia z. bought from friend. locked to Three uk. got it unlocked. it is bootloader is locked and in config it says you cannot unlock it. I am developer and I would like to work on sony xperia z ASOP project. will you be able to help me unlock the bootloader or make it unlockable.

First you can flash the stock firmware ftf using flashtool download the file from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2223827

if the bootloader is locked by the carrier there is no way to unlock it - currently impossible as far as I know

Sometimes flashing the generic firmware works

It worked for my friend.
