i don't have that playlist issue you mentioned.

although usually this is due to corrupted mp3s. and the problem with corrupted mp3s is that it is still playable on most players since it doesn't cause any noticable issue when playing. however, some apps will just refuse to play or even copy them because the crc(or similar) is incorect. Walkman and Bridge for Mac is one of those applications.

my suggestions is to download an app to check for corrupted mp3s and run thru your collections first. there are a lot of these apps around and they are free. and since they are free, i wouldn't rely on them to correct or fix the mp3s. just identify them and download them again if needed.

Hi,

I'm a new user of Sony (got the Xperia Z three days ago) but not with Android. Anyway... So I'm also a Mac user, so I downloaded Sony Bridge for Mac and immediately started syncing. I synced a lot of playlists, and I have the same songs across several playlists.

However, when I browsed through my Walkman this morning, some of the playlists were horribly incomplete despite the fact that I had only two or three "errors" according to Bridge. I believe that the software, upon detecting that one song is present in one or more playlist, will put it under just one playlist.

Are my suspicions correct, and can this be changed so that all my playlists are complete?

Thanks, and I apologize if this has been posted before; I didn't find any such thread.

I found a post discussing the same issue, although on the Xperia P. The user managed to correct it by shutting down and restarting their phone, then all the playlists became complete sans the few errors.

Thanks!
