Hi!

I have a question, why Sony's Remote Control application does not have a profile for sony remote controls?

I have Sony desktop PC similar to SVL24145CXB, as I understand it goes into "PC(Media center)" category.

This category has only 3 vendors to choose from and Sony is not one of them.

I tried to teach this application: I started with just 2 buttons - volume up and down.

So I created custom remote control with just 2 buttons that are learned from real remote control.

When I tried to use it, application failed (black screen) and showed me a message that application failed and is going to restart itself.

When I press Ok, screen blinks and we are back to square one with an error message.

The only way I managed to brake a loop is by rebooting tablet itself.

Are there less timeconsuming solutions to restart an application?

I will forward you feedback about this further on internally.

You can close applications via the recent app's menu (the button next to the home).

Just swipe the app you wish to close.

Yes, I can swipe app to close it and use other applications.

The problem is that I can't use Remote Control App. I need to reboot to use it.

I tried to use Remote Control with LG TV from preset profile - It was working without any issues.

So, maybe issue exist only when you create your own profile.
