Wont turn on

my ion has frozen and i have held the power button and volume up button to reset it, it turned off but will not turn on or even show a charging light.

I have tried plugging it into my laptop but it will not connect and i have also held the power and volume up for 20+ seconds but still does nothing. suggestions?

Put it in for charging for some time.

It will start.

hi normac,

It seems your battery has drained out fully, in such scenario, it is not advisable to charge through your laptop. Connect it through the wall charger..leave it for a an hour. Please note, getting 'on' from fully drained battery might take much long time, though it may vary to different users.

If it doesnt show the red indicator even after an hour, there might be some other issues, get it checked at an authorised service centre.

It was at 50% when it froze so i dont think that it was out of power. Earlier this morning after a night of wall charging, it had a red light then it was flashing red. It still wouldnt turn on so i took it to my network provider and they have sent it off to get fixed.
