I am using xperia Sl..whenever i unlock my phn it gives NETWORK ERROR PLEASE CHECK THE NETWORK..if any1 has faced this problem & if u have the solution..pls let me knw

I recommend that you check that you have the latest software. You can update your phone using the program PC Companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

If the problem persists you should try with another SIM card in your phone. Also check with your network carrier if they have any problems.

I've done all those things and still having the same problem as harshal. The fault isn't with my operator, i have no problem with the network after I've restored the factory settings but when the phone has to shut down, the problem is back when you turn it back on. I've tried deleting the APN settings, I tried the pc companion repairing app. Nothing seems to work. I also tried with another sim card and the problem is still there, my original sim card works on other phones. Will there be any solution or will I have to use the phone without ever letting it shut itself down and destroy the battery....

EDIT: And btw, phone calls and text messages work fine! It's just the internet that won't work!
