Restore specific items - no longer possible?

Hi,

Last night, I factory reset my phone using PC Companion. I had already backed up my data, such as messages, bookmarks etc, using the Backup and Restore app on the phone.

Now I want to restore some items, but not all - as it appears some of my data was backed up with my Google account, but it only seems to want to restore everything in the Backup. I'm sure you could choose which items to restore previously? I am worried restoring will show duplicate items.

Any ideas?

From my understanding the app in the phone will not give you these options, only the Backup & Restore app in PC Companion does sorry.

What are your thoughts about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

Thanks. The one I wanted to restore seperately (alarm clocks) isn't available to restore in PC Companion! Typical. Also whilst I am here, what is included in the "other" backup item on PCC's "Backup and Restore"?

It's always a shame when useful/functional software and fearures actually gets downgraded in terms of functionality in a new release. I enjoyed the ability to restore individual item sets.
