Update Xperia S without Windows?

Currently my Xperia S is showing update 6.1.A.2.55 ready to be updated, but when I click it it tells me to use a computer to update.

Since I don't have a Windows machine anymore, how do I update?

id say, you go to an internet cafe, install sony companion in less than 5minutes, have your phone updated and be happy :smileygrin:

if you have mac then use Bridge for mac or install boot camp then win7 or if it's linux it's a bit more complicated but not impossible.

So you basically telling me there is no workaround to update my phone only using my phone? And that I need some kind of virtual machine/dual boot option with Windows to make the update happen?
